Oh Man! This kid seriously captures my heart daily! And there is a well worn dirt path between Nana & Papa’s house and our house and for weeks… possibly months we had walked by the apricot tree. Talk about torture… it was torture watching those green apricots ripen… and once they were ripe… this kid would eat them until his tummy hurt if we would let him. Every time we’d walk by he’s grab at least three… offering to pick one for sister that never really made it to her. Summer nights like these are the ones I want etched in my brain… and hidden in my heart. His smile warms my soul and I just treasure it!
