There is something about a family session that makes my heart happy giddy! I love capturing their connections and telling the stories of the families that I capture… This family session was extra special – because it was my family. Every year since I was a little girl my dad has made it a priority for us to go and spend some quality time with our family in Wisconsin. And even though we may not have lived super close to be a part of the everyday life of the Coenen Family – we have created some incredible memories when we are back. I was so thankful to be able to share the Wisconsin adventures with my hubby and kiddos too! How special is it – that they get to spend that time with my Wisconsin family! It was fun to have 4 generations of Coenens all captured.
It is times like these when we all get together… that I also take a moment to miss Uncle Greg. (side note of celebration: Ryder was born on the anniversary of Uncle Greg’s death… October 29th and in honor of his life Ryder’s middle name is Gregory… A name that represents such strength and love. Uncle Greg left such an impression on our hearts… The other cute guy in this picture… Gregory was named after Uncle Greg too!)
Meet my Grandma… She loves to bake (such yummy fudge brownies!!!), play cards, spend time with family, go to softball and baseball games… and is quite the drummer for the community band.
Meet my Grandpa Harry… He owns a barber shop, has coached, refereed, and umpired for oodles of years… Did I mention that he is quite the packer fan?
