I was so excited when Kyle and Kayla said that they could come and hang out at the Almond Blossom Festival Carnival with me! I wanted to do something that was full of fun and a little adventure. And it was a little something that felt like pure play time for me… an opportunity to explore a little creativity.

Kyle and Kayla met almost 5 summers ago at Hume Lake Christian Camp. Kyle was living in Orange County at the time and Kayla was here locally. They maintained a great long distance friendship for quite some time… and quickly began to feel like best friends. They eventually decided they couldn’t live without each other and headed started dating long distance… just look at how cute these two are… dating 2 years later.

I love this story… and I had not idea… that when Kyle and Kayla first started getting to know each other of one of the thing she told him was that she had never been on a ferris wheel and he just didn’t thing that was normal 🙂 So he made her promise that she’d wait until she was able to go on one with him for the first time… she totally waited till she could go with him… and on one of her trips down south to see him he had planned a special date for them… they ate dinner, walked around the Irvine Spectrum, had coffee and then ended up riding the ferris wheel…

So it felt almost perfect that we got to ride another one … and capture all of their cuteness on it! The view was incredible and I love these two all snuggled close!
