Reuben + Natalie Woodfield
Their wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! Every part of their day so heartfelt… so full of beautiful emotion… so full of excitement and love from both families. Natalie is such a delightful bride… and such a beautiful friend of ours! I can still remember her in junior high… and have been blessed to watch her follow the Lord. And I am so seriously excited for Reuben & Natalie as they have chosen each other. I loved how full of giddy excitement they were all day long… like the uncontainable excitement!
I love this lovely moment below… it was the perfect way to start the celebrations of the day! Seriously Natalie… you were radiant! A true delight!Oh my goodness… There were so many touching moments… intentional details. I’m not sure if it’s because we have known their family for so long… but I can’t lie… there were a few moments I even had to choke back the tears… one of those times was during the daddy – daughter first look. That moment when Jeff got to see his grown up baby girl and she gave him the special gift of this book. A book he had read to her lots when she was little. I especially like the moment of Natalie’s momma Regina watching everything through the window… such a beautiful moment!Ahhhh another one of my favorite moments from the day… a little exchange of letters and Natalie gave Reuben her promise ring… and Natalie may have been trying to sneak a little peak 🙂Such a long awaited moment… one so precious… Reuben’s dad is a Pastor at their church and they asked him to officiate their ceremony… It made their ceremony so personal and intimate. This cake was so scrumptious… Natalie had been raving about the flavor they had chosen… and we’ve had a lot of cake and I must rave… not only was this cake beautiful… but this cake was sooooooooo delectable! The weather had been predicting a downpour of rain… and they were ready for it with tents and all sorts of preparations… but on their wedding day it stayed away … at least at their venue. There were reports of rain just down the road but it stayed dry at the party. You could literally see the rain off in the distance coming down but the dark skies made for incredible sunset portraits!Natalie had also surprised her dad and recorded a special song just for their daddy-daughter dance.
And all of the party people were busting out their moves and dancing the night away! What a celebration of Reuben & Natalie!
