A couple of weeks ago I got a call from Jonathan… telling me all about his incredible plans for his proposal to Kelly… They came to the city for a concert and came in a day early to “explore” before the rest of their family and friends met up with them! Jonathan picked the most perfect spot… with a foggy view of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and the city!

I stinking love photographing proposals! Because they had flown in from Dallas… and Kelly didn’t know who we were we were able to go into a little incognito photographer status! Jonathan had it all planned out… and we used an app to keep an eye on each of our locations until they got to the top… Jared saw them get out of the cab down the hill and captured their leisure walk up to the Look out point where I was excitedly waiting at the top to capture it all! I still don’t think Kelly had any clue! They walked right around me… right up to the bridge and then it happened…

Jonathan bent down to retrieve the ring box he had hidden on the inside of his sock… took a knee… opened the ring box… and with a tearful look in his eyes… proposed…

We were at just a distance and I’m not sure he actually got the words out… but she quickly said yes… and it was official! They were engaged!!! We spend the next hour or so capturing their love in the beautiful city! It was stinking amazing! Congrats you two! Enjoy every minute of your engagement!!!
