I’ve been waiting for just the perfect time to share this wedding and today seems like just the day!

I’m on my way to Portland to spend a few days with a dear friend as I capture her family and we both go to the book launch party for my newest favorite book… Beginner’s Pluck by Liz Forkin Bohannon. But it’s also supposed to rain lots while I am there. So it seems fitting to release this wedding as I head into the rain.

As I think back on Elly + Derek’s wedding day I’m still in love with how even though is was a day of absolute downpour rain… these two did their best to dance in it… and their people danced right along side of them all night long. 

These two were so gracious and I am so thankful they were troopers and snuck out into the rain for their portraits full of adventure!!! Take a peek and enjoy their love and this rainy day full of loveliness!
